Per noi ha creato un bellissimo tutorial, passo passo , per realizzare il collage con la cera, per abbellire le nostre creazioni o per creare veri pezzi di home decor. Lasciamo a lei la parola:

Ciao, sono Cuchy dalla Spagna e sono onorata di essere qui, invitata da Gio e Roberta. Ho preparato un divertente progetto per voi, usando la cera d'api. Spero vi piaccia e vi divertiate a seguirlo cosi' come io a farlo. Potete chiedermi riguardo al progetto qui o sul mio blog in ogni moment ed io saro' contenta di rispondervi. Adesso partiamo , mettete su i vostri grembiuli....Materials/
Materiali:
-Melting Pot and heat gun OR Metalic pot and heat gun
-Paper scraps, flowers, embellish…
-Beeswax pearls OR a candle
-Brush, only for beeswax
-Stamps (preferably rubber stamps)
-Canvas/ Wood / Heavy cardstock
-Acrylic paints
-Perfect Pearls – Mica Powders OR Eyes make up (pearl)
-Stazon ink or similar
-Old credit card
-Soft brush
-Ribbon
-Melting Pot/Contenitore metallico e embosser
-Ritagli o stampe laser, fiori, abbellimenti…
-Cera d'api o candela
-Un pennello, solo per la cera
-Timbri (preferibilmente di gomma)
-Canvas/ Legno/ Cartoncino spesso
-Colori acrilici
-Perfect Pearls oppure ombretti perlati
-Stazon o simili
-Vecchia carta di credito
-Pennello morbido
-Nastri
PREPARING THE BEESWAX/Preparare la cera
Since beeswax has a very low melting point, its enough to use a metalic tin and the heat gun to melt the wax for our project. Just take wax pieces from a candle or beeswax pearls and heat them with the gun in a metalic tin. You can also put some beeswax pearls into the melting pot and let them melt.
Avendo la cera un basso punto di fusione, e' necessario un contenitore di metallo e l'embosser per sciogliere la cera per il nostro progetto. Prendere quindi dei pezzi di candela o la cera d'api e riscaldarli con l'embosser nel contenitore. Oppure usare la melting pot.
MAKING THE COLLAGE/Il collage
Using the brush, apply the wax as if it is glue and stick the paper pieces, flowers… whatever you want to your canvas.
Usando il pennello, applicare la cera come se fosse colla and attaccare i pezzi di carta, i fiori...qualsiasi cosa tu voglia per il tuo canvas.
Use an old credit card to spread the wax if you want a thinner layer.
Usare la vecchia carta di credito se si desidera uno strato piu' sottile.
If the wax dries, you can always heat it to melt it again until you get the best result.
Even the metal embellishments can be glued with the wax. You only have to pour a thick layer of wax.
Se la cera si asciuga, si puo' sempre riscaldarla di nuovo fino a che si ottiene il risultato voluto. Anche gli abbellimenti metallici possono essere incollati con la cera. Basta versare uno strato piu' spesso di cera.
STAMPING ON BEESWAX/
Stampare sulla ceraApply more wax in those areas where you want to stamp your image. Alternatively you can do it pouring the melting wax directly from a burning candle.
Applicare piu' cera nella zone dove si vuole stampare. Oppure versarla dalla candela.
Wait about 20-30 sec. until the wax is almost opaque. Put a flat and hard surface below the canvas (I used a plasstic box) and then firmly press your stamp.
Aspettare 20-30 sec. fino a che la cera diventa opaca. Appoggiare la tela su un supporto rigido e premere con fermezza il timbro sulla cera.
A good thing about beeswax is that, if you do not like the way it looks, you can always melt it again with the heat gun and repeat the process as much as you want.
I didn´t like the way my stamping turned out, (PIC. 10) so I reheated the wax and stamped again. Much better (PIC. 11)
Una buona cosa sulla cera e' che se il risultato non piace, si puo' sempre ri-sciogliere con l'embosser e ripetere il processo quante volte si vuole.Non mi era piaciuta la prima timbrata , cosi' ho di nuovo fuso la cera e di nuovo timbrata. Molto meglio!
Continue stamping also with stazon ink wherever you want and let it dry completely.
Continuare a stampare con lo Stazon e lasciare asciugare.
SHINNING AND PAINTING/Rifinire
Apply mica powders with a soft brush over certain areas. You can let it as it, or reheat the wax so it blends with the powders.
Applicare la polvere perlata con un pennello morbido. Si puo' lasciarlo cosi' o risciogliere la cera cosi' da mescolarsi con la polvere.
With a sponge, apply acrylic paint in the stamped areas, to make them stand out, but do not overpaint it.
Again, if you want it to shine, apply mica powders over the paint, once it is dried.
Con una spugna applicare il colore acrilico sulle aree stampate, per farle risaltare, ma senza esagerare. Per farle brillare aggiungere la polvere perlata una volta asciutto il colore.
FINISHING/Abbellimenti
Embellish your project with some coloured sequins. Use a burning candle to directly pour the wax and “glue” the sequins to the canvas.
Decorare il progetto con pailettes colorate. Usare una candela accesa per incollare le pailettes sul canvas.
Put a ribbon, trim or lace around the edge of the canvas and add any special touch you want.
Aggiungere dei nastri o pizzi al bordo della tela canvas.
